2. PRESENTATION OF COMPANY:
CYKOM is a Danish digital platform and app focused on running, cycling, and community-based activities. The platform makes it easier for users to find relevant running and cycling activities, organise group rides and runs, connect with like-minded people, and become part of active communities.
For private users, CYKOM provides one app for discovering, planning, and joining running and cycling activities. Users can connect with friends, local sports communities, and other active people with similar interests.
For companies, clubs, brands, and community owners, CYKOM offers a community-management platform that helps organise activities, engage customers and members, and generate insight into participation and engagement. The platform supports activity planning, event management, push notifications, loyalty incentives, and data-driven insight into what drives community activity and retention.
CYKOM is built around the idea that active communities can create stronger customer relationships, higher engagement, and more measurable value for brands, clubs, and organisations operating within running, cycling, and active lifestyle segments.
The company is currently preparing for a phase of commercial growth and increased external visibility. In addition to supporting customer acquisition and community growth, CYKOM’s communication must also contribute to building credibility and momentum towards potential investors and funding stakeholders.
3. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK UNDER MARKET EVALUATION:
CYKOM is entering an important commercial phase focused on market activation, customer engagement, community growth, and broader adoption of its platform among both end users and business customers.
At the same time, CYKOM is preparing for future funding activities and investor dialogue. Clear, consistent, and credible communication is therefore important not only for market adoption, but also for demonstrating traction, positioning, scalability, and commercial potential to investors and other funding stakeholders.
To support this phase, CYKOM seeks external advisory support in developing a clear and effective communication strategy. The strategy must help CYKOM communicate its value proposition more clearly to its core target audiences and support the conversion from awareness to app downloads, community engagement, demo bookings, partnerships, commercial adoption, and investor interest.
CYKOM is currently present across digital channels and uses its website, app store presence, social media, and direct outreach to communicate with users and potential business customers. However, there is a need to strengthen the messaging architecture, sharpen the distinction between user-facing, business-facing, and investor-relevant communication, and ensure that the communication resonates with the different segments CYKOM aims to reach.
The primary target audiences include:
· Running and cycling communities
· Sports clubs and organisers
· Brands and companies seeking to activate customers through community-based activities
· Event and activity organisers
· Active lifestyle users looking for relevant communities and social activities
· Potential investors, funding stakeholders, and strategic partners
CYKOM requires guidance on how to structure and deliver targeted messaging across relevant channels, including e-mail, LinkedIn, website copy, app-related communication, social media, and investor-relevant communication assets. The support should include recommendations for communication formats, frequency, message hierarchy, tone of voice, and outreach structure.
The objective is to build awareness, create trust, increase engagement, and establish a clear path from first contact to app usage, demo booking, pilot activity, commercial collaboration, strategic partnership, or investor dialogue.
4. TASK OBJECTIVES AND SUCCESS CRITERIA:
CYKOM requests a written offer for the following advisory services:
Advisory on brand voice and messaging
Advisory support on brand voice guidelines tailored to CYKOM’s target segments, including example messages for:
· E-mail campaigns
· LinkedIn posts
· Website copy
· App-related communication
· Outreach to clubs, communities, brands, and business partners
· Investor-relevant positioning and communication
The purpose is to ensure that CYKOM communicates in a clear, engaging, credible, and commercially relevant way across its key channels, while also strengthening the company’s external positioning towards investors and funding stakeholders.
Communication plan
Advisory in developing a communication plan that supports CYKOM’s commercialisation and funding-readiness activities from Q2 2026 to Q2 2027, including:
· A content plan with calendar, formats, and templates for key channels
· Recommendations for communication frequency and channel priorities
· Messaging structure for user-facing, business-facing, and investor-relevant audiences
· Guidance on how to communicate CYKOM’s value proposition to clubs, communities, brands, active users, investors, and strategic partners
· A framework for campaign planning and customer engagement
· Recommendations for how communication can support investor credibility, traction storytelling, and funding dialogue
· A measurement and improvement strategy for continuously optimising communication efforts during the period
Review of campaign and communication assets
Review and feedback on CYKOM’s first campaign assets, including recommendations for improvement before launch.
This may include feedback on selected investor-relevant communication materials, such as company positioning, traction messaging, problem-solution framing, website sections, LinkedIn communication, or short narrative texts used in funding-related contexts.
Success will be measured by the extent to which the advisory support enables CYKOM to communicate more clearly, consistently, and effectively with its target audiences, thereby supporting awareness, app engagement, community growth, lead generation, demo bookings, commercial adoption, strategic partnerships, and investor interest.
5. BUDGET OG SPECIFICATION OF AN OFFER:
CYKOM expects a written offer to include at least the following:
· Date of submission of offer
· A brief presentation of the bidder, including CVR number and contact details
· Relevant references and company history, if applicable
· The bidder’s proposed approach to solving the task
· Specification of the price for solving the task
· Total price: DKK 43,000 excl. VAT
· Discount, if relevant
· Timeframe and expected end date
· Conditions for the offer, if any
6. BACKGROUND FOR THE TENDER:
CYKOM is subject to requirements regarding sound financial management and documentation that the agreed price for external purchases reflects the market price. This tender is part of fulfilling these requirements.
The bidder must only submit an offer for the requested advisory task. The task may include advisory input on investor-relevant communication, positioning, and messaging, but must not include direct fundraising execution, investor outreach management, broker services, or other services of an executing or implementation nature.
Services of an executing or implementation nature cannot be approved as part of this tender.
The winning bid will be selected based on an assessment of the best correlation between price and quality.
