Cloud Security and Database Architecture Competency Development

Template for the Task Description

A good Task Description must include the following:

1. GENERAL INFORMATION:
Deadline for Submission: 20.10.2023
Offering Company: TYKO ApS - CVR: 46300688
Questions and offers should be addressed to:
Maziar Golestani (mazi@tykohub.com)

2. PRESENTATION OF COMPANY:
TYKO ApS is the company behind TYKO Hub, a domain-native, agentic AI engineering platform designed to accelerate offshore wind design and "agentify" complex engineering workflows. We empower engineers to turn their legacy calculation scripts into custom AI agents, creating a reactive design flow that cuts offshore wind project timelines by more than 6 months.

We are rapidly gaining commercial momentum with both co-founders working full-time on TYKO Hub. We have secured Letters of Intent (LOIs) from three leading industry customers to pilot our platform. We are currently transitioning our offline prototype to a live, web-hosted environment.

3. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK UNDER MARKET EVALUATION:
We are seeking expert consulting to provide guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing for building our internal competencies in cloud security and database/AI-agent platform architecture.

Because we plan to build the core MVP platform ourselves using enterprise-ready managed backends (e.g., Supabase/Auth0) and AI coding assistants, we need to acquire the specialized know-how to ensure our foundation is built correctly from day one (so it can be scaled easier later on after releasing the MVP and securing funding to build the full scale product).

The project focuses strictly on knowledge transfer, hands-on working sessions and competency building (not a stand-alone deliverable) in two specific areas:

Cloud Security Architecture: Training our team on how to design and implement enterprise-grade security layers, tenant isolation, and secure authentication to satisfy the stringent IT security protocols of our pilot users (big energy and consultancy firms with).
Database Architecture (Large 3D Datasets): Providing architectural blueprinting and training on how to structure a scalable database foundation capable of handling complex engineering workflows, AI agent orchestration and large 3D datasets (such as long-term atmospheric and oceanographic data sources). This knowledge will prevent us from needing to refactor the entire codebase or invest major capital when we scale up.
This project is a critical step in our commercialization roadmap. To convert our current LOIs into paid early-adopter contracts, our pilot customers must test the platform using real, highly sensitive project data. Without acquiring the competencies to build a secure environment from day one, we cannot launch the pilot. By closing this knowledge gap now, we ensure the successful deployment of our MVP, which will subsequently allow us to secure the revenue and investor financing needed for our full commercial launch.

Outcome: TYKO ApS will gain the tools, knowledge and internal competencies to independently develop, maintain, and scale our secure backend using AI coding tools, eliminating strong dependency on external development agencies for our MVP and able to onboard our pilot customers

4. TASK OBJECTIVES AND SUCCESS CRITERIA:

Objectives:

Equip the founding team with the essential skills and knowledge to independently build and maintain a secure cloud architecture for enterprise pilot deployment
Build a scalable and secure database and AI agent-platform architecture with heavy engineering data and 3D datasets.
Equip the co-founders with the skills to independently maintain and extend both going forward
Establish clear, documented design decisions to support pilot customer IT security reviews and future investor due diligence
Success Criteria:

Delivery of a straightforward, documented and maintainable architectural blueprint covering both security and database structuring (that meets enterprise pilot customers' due-diligence expectations)
Successful knowledge transfer, demonstrated by the founders' ability to independently execute the MVP backend setup using AI coding assistants without critical security vulnerabilities.
A foundational architecture robust enough to safely host proprietary pilot data from our enterprise partners without requiring full rebuild when scaling up

5. BUDGET OG SPECIFICATION OF AN OFFER:
The project has a maximum budget of 43,000 DKK excl. VAT. Depending on the offers received, we may hire maximum of two (2) consultants.

The written offer must contain at least:

  • Date of submission of offer.
  • A brief presentation of the bidder, stating the CVR number and contact details (including relevant references/history with cloud security and 3D data architecture).
  • Bidder's proposal for solving the task (focusing on knowledge transfer).
  • The price for solving the task.
  • Expected schedule (The project is expected to take place over 3-4 weeks and finish by end of November 2026).
  • Conditions for the offer, if any.

6. BACKGROUND FOR THE TENDER:
Beyond Beta is subject to a number of requirements for good, healthy financial management, including documentation that the agreed price for external purchases is an expression of the market price. This tender is part of these requirements.
We emphasize that the bidder must only make an offer on the requested task.
Services of executing or implementing nature cannot be approved
The winning bid is chosen based on an assessment of the best correlation between price and quality
