About the company
Bottles With History is a Danish e-commerce company specializing in curated wine tasting
experiences that combine premium wines with storytelling and design. The company develops
unique tasting products and gift concepts that allow customers to explore the history, regions, and
craftsmanship behind carefully selected wines.
The business primarily operates through a direct-to-consumer digital model and serves both private
consumers and corporate clients seeking high-quality gifts and tasting experiences. Through a strong
focus on storytelling, branding, and customer experience, Bottles With History has established a
distinctive position within the premium wine gifting and tasting market.
The challenge
As a digitally driven company, Bottles With History relies heavily on online marketing channels to
acquire customers and scale its business. However, increasing competition within digital advertising -
particularly on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) - requires a more structured, data-
driven, and strategically aligned approach to digital marketing.
While the company has gained practical experience with paid social advertising, there is a clear need
to further strengthen internal competencies in performance marketing, audience targeting, and
campaign optimization. Developing these competencies will enable the company to make more
strategic decisions regarding customer acquisition, improve marketing efficiency, and better utilize
its digital channels.
The opportunity
By investing in competency development within Meta advertising and digital marketing strategy,
Bottles With History aims to strengthen its internal capabilities to plan, execute, and optimize digital
marketing campaigns in a more systematic and scalable way.
This initiative will support the development of a clearer digital growth strategy, where paid social
advertising, customer data, and content marketing work together to create a stronger and more
efficient customer acquisition funnel. Strengthening these capabilities will allow the company to
improve marketing return on investment, scale its digital presence, and support future growth in
both domestic and international markets.

aligns paid advertising, website performance, and customer data. This includes defining a structured
