Sensemakers develops cost-efficient autonomous USV's and docking stations for monitoring marine biodiversity and water quality at sea. Using AI-powered underwater cameras, sensors and sonar technology we enable large-scale seabed mapping and environmental data collection in coastal ecosystems.

3. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK UNDER MARKET EVALUATION: 
Present a detailed and precise description of the task you want a quote for.  

We are looking for structured guidance and training to build internal skills and competence around compliance and certification for unmanned surface vessels (USVs). 

The competence development program should cover advise and training in:

CE marking fundamentals

- Understanding the CE process, relevant directives, and harmonized standards.

- Practical methods for identifying which standards apply to marine robotics/USVs.

Battery management compliance

- Regulatory requirements for lithium battery systems (UN 38.3, safety, transport rules).

- Best practices for documentation and testing.

Global standards & certification pathways

- Overview of key differences between Europe, the US (e.g. FCC), and Asia (e.g. MIC/VCCI, CCC).

- Methods for comparing and adapting compliance strategies across regions.

EMC testing preparation

- How to prepare a system for EMC testing, including pre-compliance steps.

- Lessons on test setup, typical failure modes, and troubleshooting.

Component selection with compliance in mind

- How to evaluate antennas, transmitters, and other electronic components for conformity.

- Interpreting and leveraging supplier documentation and certificates.

 
4. TASK OBJECTIVES AND SUCCESS CRITERIA: 
Describe the goal of the task and how it can be measured/ensured that the task is solved to satisfaction. 

The main objective is to enable our team to independently plan, manage, and document compliance activities for current and future products.

- It’s the goal to complete a minimum of 3 online training/workshop sessions.

In order to ensure success, the Sensemakers team will finalise the learning programme with sketching a plan for the CE marking process of the SenseBoat USV technology. The service provider will give feedback and approve the quality of the final document.

 
5. BUDGET OG SPECIFICATION OF AN OFFER: 
We expect a written offer to include at least: 
• Date of submission of offer 
• A brief presentation of the bidder, stating the CVR number and contact details. If relevant, with references and history 
• Bidder's proposal for solving the task 
• Specification of the price for solving the task 
• Discount, if relevant 
• Timeframe and end date 
• Conditions for the offer, if any 

Maximum available budget is: 4.000€ / 30.000DKK

 
6. BACKGROUND FOR THE TENDER: 
Beyond Beta is subject to a number of requirements for good, healthy financial management, including documentation that the agreed price for external purchases is an expression of the market price. This tender is part of these requirements.
