DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK UNDER MARKET EVALUATION:
We are seeking a partner to design and deliver a tailored training program that proveds participants a solid introductions on Intellectual Property (IP), with a special focus on patents and, in particular, the protection of software-based innovations.

We propose the the training will be structured around two to four independent yet interrelated modules. The modules must be delivered as on-site seminars.

Before finalizing the content, short pre-interviews with the participating companies must be conducted to ensure the program is adapted to their specific needs, especially their challenges in protecting software, algorithms, and digital health solutions. Optional interactive assignments may be included between modules to strengthen learning outcomes. If feedback on assignments is requested, this will be best handled in physical workshops.

After the training, companies will also have the opportunity to receive individual consulting support, allowing them to translate the general insights into company-specific IP strategies, with a particular emphasis on software and digital solutions. We suggest a pool of approximately 20 hours of individuel sparring to distribute among the participating startups.

TASK OBJECTIVES AND SUCCESS CRITERIA:
The objective of this task is to provide participating companies with practical knowledge and tools to identify, protect, and leverage their innovations, with a strong focus on software patents and digital health applications.

Success criteria include:

  • Delivery of two to four high-quality, engaging, and practically relevant training modules with a clear emphasis on software and digital innovation.
  • Participant feedback showing increased understanding of software patentability, digital health IP, and contractual frameworks.
  • Companies reporting confidence in applying the insights to their own products, strategies, and investor dialogues.
  • Demonstrated uptake of individual consulting services post-course, ensuring that training outcomes are translated into concrete, actionable IP strategies.
