2. Presentation of the Company

Twinspire is a Danish sports technology company founded in 2023 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company was established at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) through DTU Skylab, the university’s innovation and entrepreneurship hub, and has been developed in close collaboration with DTU Health Tech.

Twinspire develops an AI-powered digital twin platform for professional athletes, with an initial focus on elite football. The platform integrates data from existing athlete management systems, including GPS and training load, strength and movement testing, heart rate variability, sleep data, and rehabilitation records and transforms this data into predictive outputs, including individual readiness scores, reinjury risk flags, and return-to-play guidance. Twinspire does not replace existing tools used by clubs but operates as a predictive intelligence layer on top of them. Twinspire holds a filed patent application covering its proprietary training methodology and operates in a formal partnership with the Danish Football Union’s (DBU/DIF) Innovation Lab.

3. Description of the Task

Twinspire is seeking a quotation from a qualified independent consultant for the provision of technical advisory services covering platform architecture review, data security assessment, and scalability planning. This engagement supports Twinspire’s transition from a validated MVP to a robust, commercially deployable product platform — a critical requirement ahead of its first external seed round and expanding club pilot programme.

3.1 Technical Platform Readiness Assessment
The consultant will conduct a structured review of Twinspire’s current technical architecture and engineering practices. This includes an assessment of the GCP-based cloud infrastructure (Cloud Run, BigQuery), data pipeline design, microservices architecture, and deployment practices. The output will identify gaps in robustness, reliability, and operational maturity, and provide concrete recommendations for reaching production-grade readiness.

3.2 Data Security & Compliance Review
The consultant will assess Twinspire’s data handling practices against relevant standards and requirements, including GDPR compliance, athlete data sensitivity, and the security requirements of professional sports organisations. This includes a review of access controls, data storage policies, API security, and incident response readiness. A written assessment will be delivered with prioritised remediation recommendations.

3.3 AI Systems & Agentic Workflow Evaluation
The consultant will evaluate the design and operational robustness of Twinspire’s AI-driven data pipelines and emerging agentic workflows. This covers model operationalisation practices, traceability of outputs, feature computation reliability, and the integration of AI-assisted automation within the engineering stack. Recommendations will address both immediate reliability concerns and longer-term scalability of the AI system architecture.

3.4 Scalability & Club Onboarding Framework
The consultant will assess Twinspire’s readiness to onboard new clubs and data sources at scale. This includes a review of data ingestion and normalisation across heterogeneous athlete management systems, environment and deployment practices, and the technical onboarding process for new partners. A structured framework for scalable club onboarding will be produced as a deliverable.

3.5 Technical Due Diligence Preparation
The consultant will support Twinspire in preparing for the technical due diligence process that accompanies a seed funding round. This includes identifying and addressing gaps in documentation, architectural decision records, observability practices, and the overall technical narrative. The consultant will ensure that the platform’s maturity and credibility can be clearly communicated to early-stage investors and technical advisors.

3.6 Context and Background
Twinspire is at a critical transition from research-validated MVP to commercial product. The company is preparing to raise its first external seed round and is simultaneously expanding its club pilot programme in partnership with DIF Innovation Lab. Engagement of an experienced external consultant with direct expertise in data platform engineering, AI systems, and technical readiness for early-stage investment is considered essential to ensuring that Twinspire enters the next phase with infrastructure that accurately reflects its competitive strength and scientific credibility.
