2. PRESENTATION OF COMPANY:  

Pebbla is a Danish health technology company founded in 2025, developing innovative pelvic floor training devices for women with pelvic floor dysfunction and operating within the women's health (femtech) sector. 

We are developing an external pelvic floor trainer designed to support women experiencing symptoms associated with pelvic floor dysfunction, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, as well as reduced awareness of and connection to their pelvic floor muscles.

Grounded in evidence-based principles for pelvic floor training, the device provides intuitive and credible pelvic health support at home through external vibrational cues that guide correct muscle activation, relaxation, and improved body awareness.

By improving adherence to and effectiveness of recommended pelvic floor training, Pebbla offers a user-friendly and intuitive solution for correct pelvic floor activation and relaxation. This enhances users’ confidence, empowerment, and continuity in training—key factors for successful treatment outcomes. As a home-based medical device with significant potential for commercial scalability, Pebbla contributes to the advancement of accessible and effective health services for women.

 

3. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK UNDER MARKET EVALUATION:  

The task involves delivering a tailored competence development program consisting of specialized workshops for our internal team. The objective is to bridge the gap between product vision and hardware engineering by upskilling the team in electronics fundamentals, hands-on programming and evaluation of vibration motors for training patterns, and structured requirements engineering for medical hardware.

The training program must cover the following core areas:

Module 1: Electronics Fundamentals – Possibilities, Limitations, and General Safety

Building a foundational understanding of electronics architecture, mapping out what is technically feasible versus restricted by small hardware form factors.

Training in identifying hardware limitations (e.g., power consumption, thermal constraints, space optimization).

Introduction to general electrical and patient safety considerations for body-worn/intimate devices.

Module 2 & 3: Double Workshop – Motor Evaluation and Pattern Programming via ESP Architecture

Practical, hands-on workshops focused on evaluating, testing, and selecting vibration motors/actuators using a modular prototyping setup.

Programming and configuring training and bio-feedback patterns using an ESP microcontroller framework (e.g., ESP32).

Træning in methodology for refining, modulating, and optimizing haptic/vibration patterns to match clinical and user needs.

Module 4: Technical Requirements Definition and Quality Control

Training in translating qualitative user inputs and overall product scope into concrete, quantitative engineering requirements for electronics design and development in accordance with CE MDR.

Establishing essential quality control (QC) criteria and verification parameters early in the development lifecycle based on foundational electronics knowledge.

 

4. TASK OBJECTIVES AND SUCCESS CRITERIA: 

The objective of this task is to upskill our team to strategically define hardware requirements and practically evaluate tactile feedback mechanisms, ensuring a structured approach to our upcoming electronics development and quality management.

Success criteria and measurable deliverables:

Workshop Material: Documentation, code snippets, and reference guides for configuring and controlling motor patterns within the ESP ecosystem.

Requirements & QC Skabelon: An operational framework template in Google Docs format for mapping product scope and user inputs into technical hardware requirements and quality control checkpoints.

Targeted Feedback Session: A dedicated review session where the bidder evaluates our team's initial draft of the electronics requirement specification and selected motor test patterns.

 

5. BUDGET OG SPECIFICATION OF AN OFFER:  

Total Fixed Price for the Task: 38,000 DKK EX. VAT.

 

6. BACKGROUND FOR THE TENDER:  Beyond Beta is subject to a number of requirements for good, healthy financial management, including documentation that the agreed price for external purchases is an expression of the market price.
